Today I am continuing work on a commission of clay horse sculptures. These three are finished I have one more horse to go. Then all but the one with the apple between his legs will be put together on a single base and on their way to Canada. I believe these guys have taken me the longest of any of my works so far to make but I am loving how they are coming along.
While I'm here I will share with you my three wild mini friends that I've kind of adopted. A neighbor brought them in and pretty much as turned them out and abandoned them. The ground is frozen and there isn't anything for them to eat so they've made their way to my property where I provide them with water, hay, feed and treats. I don't understand people sometimes. Look how cute they all are. I don't know how anyone could turn them away.
The one of the left is my little buddy that I've named Cracker Jack, Rain eating the hay in front and I've yet to determine a name for the other little girl you guys are welcome to offer suggestions if you like.
And so with that my friends, I'm off make clay critters. I hope you all are staying warm. And bright blessings
